The club regularly runs exhibitions of members’ images at the Unity Art Studio in the Chantry Centre, Andover. The following details will help you understand what is required to enter images.

Entry requirements

• All images must be framed.
• Only wooden frames will be accepted; no plastic or clip frames. This is required so that mirror mounts can be attached.
• The frame must be at least 15mm wide to accept the screws.
• Every image must have 2 labels containing the author’s name, the image title and price (if for sale). 1 must be stuck to the back of the image, the other submitted loose. Images not submitted with such labels may not be accepted unless agreed in advance by the exhibition organiser.

• If not obvious from the image, the rear of the frame must indicate the image orientation through an arrow pointing up.
• Once hung, images will not be removed until the end of the exhibition.

Where entries do not comply and mirror mounts cannot be attached they will not be hung and will not be part of the exhibition.

Selling prints

• If you are selling your image please ensure it is properly mounted in a good, presentable frame.
• The catalogue price will be as per the label provided. If you do not wish to offer the image for sale please enter NFS as the price (Not For Sale).
• Note that the museum will take a 25% commission on all prints sold. The club does not take commission.
• Once hung, and image entered as for sale cannot be removed from sale.
• Payment for images sold will be from Andover Museum; note that this will not occur until the end of the exhibition and may take a few weeks to process.

Tips for selecting correct frame size

• For example, for an A4 print
• Select the mount first. The label will say something similar to “IMAGE SIZE A4”
• The label will also tell you the frame size required; that is the size you need to get
• Tape your print to the back of the mount as normal, and then fit into the frame
